Get to know us
Since 2019, we have been engaging young people in activities related to Poland and the Polish diaspora, organizing events that bring youth together, helping them gain university admission, and giving a voice to the most talented students.
The Polish Youth Association was founded for cultural, social, and educational purposes, focusing on supporting youth initiatives, organizing events for young people, and curating programs that promote Polish history, culture, language, traditions, and heritage.
The inauguration of the Polish Youth Association took place at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York, one of the most prestigious Polish diplomatic institutions in the world. The organization was founded by Jakub Staniewski.
In 2021, we integrated the Polish Students Organization, which had been serving youth and students in the U.S. for 30 years, into our structure. The activities of the Polish Youth Association are centered around four programs: PSMConnect, PSMEngage, PSMExplore, and PSMAmplify.
While headquartered in New York, our organization operates internationally. Our goal is to foster self-awareness and a drive for personal growth, enabling young people to become valuable members of the Polish diaspora and responsible citizens of their chosen country.
Our mission is to amplify the voices of young people by collaborating with organizations that support them and encouraging youth participation in social life.
Scholarship database for students
Studying abroad is often unimaginably expensive. That’s why we maintain a scholarship database for our members to help cover the cost of their education.
The database is regularly updated, allowing students to save countless hours searching for financial aid opportunities. So far, our database has featured over $120,000 in scholarships from various Polish diaspora organizations.
We help in obtaining internships, jobs, and gaining experience.
Within our structure, we unite Polish student clubs operating at universities in the United States and Canada. We assist clubs in establishing connections beyond their own campuses, provide financial support for their activities, and connect young people aspiring to attend top universities with future mentors.
