Polish American Student Organization (PASA)

Stony Brook University

AN ACCREDITED POLISH STUDENT CLUB OF THE POLISH YOUTH ASSOCIATION

Polish American Student Organization (PASA)

The Polish American Student Association (PASA) was established in 2020 to promote Polish culture across the Stony Brook University campus. Our mission is to foster a sense of unity among Polish American students while creating space for others to learn about and engage with Polish traditions, music, food, and history. We accomplish this through community service, educational and social events, and inclusive gatherings that highlight the richness of Polish heritage. Signature events include Pierogi Nights, Disco Polo parties, and cultural craft nights, all designed to bring students together in celebration and connection. Through our presence on campus, PASA strives to share and celebrate Polish culture with anyone eager to explore it or reconnect with their roots.

Stony Brook University

Stony Brook University has a five-part mission: to provide comprehensive undergraduate, graduate, and professional education of the highest quality; to carry out research and intellectual endeavors of the highest international standards that advance knowledge and have immediate or long-range practical significance; to provide leadership for economic growth, technology, and culture for neighboring communities and the wider geographic region; to provide state-of-the-art innovative health care, while serving as a resource to a regional health care network and to the traditionally underserved; and to fulfill these objectives while celebrating diversity and positioning the University in the global community.
